As you can imagine, taking care of so many cats isn’t easy or free. The average monthly budget to keep our shelters going strong and the cats healthy, safe and well-fed is right around $14,500. This covers the basics such as wet and dry food, litter, cleaning supplies like paper towel, detergent and cleansers, utilities, rent, and medical expenses for each of our two shelters. Because our focus is to help at-risk cats, often their medical needs when they first come to us can be quite extensive. Even though Dr. Jen provides her expertise free of charge, our medical bills still eat a huge chunk of the budget. We will spare no expense in getting these neglected animals back to being healthy and safe, and your donation can play an important role in their wellbeing and new lease on life. Here are some suggested donation amounts and exactly how they will be put to good use. Donations both large and small are very much appreciated; thank you for supporting our cause.
- $80: provides admission for two cats into our program including vaccinations, minor medical care (flea, deworm, ear mites, etc) and spaying or neutering
- $300: can provide 1 month of dry food to feed all of our cats
