Near the Caledonia Township Hall on January 5th, two girls came across this adorable charming fella in a dumpster. Come to find out after the fact, a boy had found him earlier in the day, had taken him home to mom, who promptly told him NO! - so the boy put the cat back in the dumpster! Luckily he thought to tell two fast-acting friends of his, who promptly rescued him from his smelly temporary home. Thankfully they got him out when they did, as we got quite a bit of snow the next day, and we all know dumpster living is no kind of life for ANY critter! So Renee Kermeen caught wind of this poor kitty's story and asked for our help. So on January 7th, Kismet became our newest resident at Crash's - and let me tell you, he couldn't be happier! Born Sometime in the summer of 2008, he is one comical cat! For one thing, he can't stay clean for any reason! For as stunning and bright white as he is, he sure delights in dirtying himself up when he can (typical little boy!) Goofy doesn't begin to describe him or his playful, entertaining antics! Oh, and to top it off, I think he is deaf , which may be adding to his silliness. Doesn't impair him in the least, but it sure doesn't allow me to gently scold him after he has trashed his cage once again for the ump-teeth time:) Kismet was meant to be with us, that I am sure of. He sure came about it in a strange way - but that is how fate would have it!
