Here is some of what Dr. Jen says about Zelda:
While combing the streets for a lost Sid's cat in September 2010, our volunteers
befriended a mother and daughter duo that had no home. After speaking with a man
who had been feeding them since his mom moved away, we were given the go-ahead
from him to take them.
I think this was absolutely one of the easiest rescues we have had, as the two
literally walked right into the arms of the volunteer sent to collect them!
Looks like Zelda, the mama cat (probably born in March of 2008) had not only
given birth to Zula, but other litters as well and was pregnant again!
I honestly think she breathed a sigh of relief when I removed her reproductive organs, as life in the alleyways with a brood to care for in the cold winter
months is no picnic!
Zelda is outgoing, gregarious and open to new indoor adventures. She makes pals
very easily and readily, and would like nothing more than to cuddle up with you!
