Our featured cat for The River's Purrfect Friday: Selima
Here's what Dr. Jen had to say about Selima:
Sweet as pie, Selima (Sa-lee-ma) had been sitting in a cage out at Harbor Humane Society in West Olive for fourteen months! Born in June of 2006 I think, this darling cat had no business being caged for so long as she is as charming as they come! It took over 30 minutes to bathe and blow her coat out, then brush out all of the excess hair she had been carrying around for so long. Once she got her mani/pedi, she was good to go, so we took her down to our place on June 5th, 2009.
Lemme tell you - this 11-pound girl is LOVING the freedom that comes with being a Crash Cat; she is able to roam around, explore, get to know the other kitties by day, then snuggle up comfy and cozy at night. Selima is quite a social girl, so this type of exploration is quite exciting to her! She may be just a simple black kitty, but there is nothing plain about her! Simply put, she just wants to be loved and taken into a home that will spoil her rotten:)
