Our featured cat for The River's Purrfect Friday: Ludwig

Here's what Dr. Jen had to say about Ludwig:

Laid-back and lovely - Ludwig is just that - and handsome and charming as well. Born in January of 2007, he ended up at Harbor Humane Society on January 22nd of 2009, and when he tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), they asked if we could take him.
He arrived a bit beat up, which is typical for intact males, with a nasty ear infection and tapeworms as well, but healed up quickly, and settled right on into the good life at our Sanctuary. Ludwig is one of the most mellow fellas we have here - nothing seems to bother him, and stuff just slides off his back like water. He is so happy to receive affection, and even more happy to snooze the afternoon away nestled deep down in cozy covers or a fluffy pillow.
I tell you, it really warms my heart to see a cat like this, so calm and content, and think of how he would have been, if it weren't for the folks at HHS and us:) Thanks to Shirley Hamming for sponsoring this loveable lug monthly!
This cat has a history of stomatitis.
