Here's what Dr. Jen had to say about Joey:
Lowell sure loves its stray cats, or actually, I should say, its residents do,
as Tracy Johnson sure did take good care of two siblings she discovered back in
January of 2010. But when springtime came along and the raccoons were eating
the food left out for the duo, which she had fixed so they couldn't reproduce,
it became more of a pressing issue to get them in to a local rescue. Joey's
right ear was injured prior to his neuter surgery, so when the doctor tipped
his left ear, he tipped the right to make it look better; now he has nibs and
he looks adorable!
Jada and Joey, born in February of 2010, are absolute joys to have as Crash
Cats; this was decided from the minute they stepped foot into our place! [...] Joey is the goofball of the two, being the more adventurous and the one who makes friends the fastest. In fact, once he arrived, he really didn't wish to hang out with his little sister much more, taking it upon himself to befriend Jammie, who was a bit shell-shocked and in need of a buddy.
Both cats are so outgoing and friendly that I cannot fathom how they would have ended up homeless and fending for themselves - boggles my mind time and time again. They don't need to go into a home with one another, but having another cat to play with is a must, as both enjoy feline companionship too much to do without.
