Our featured cat for The River's Purrfect Friday: Jericho

Here's what Dr. Jen had to say about Jericho:

Just when thought we couldn't find a prettier guy than our very own Caesar, in walked Jericho (born around January of 2005), who was rescued by NW-side resident Steve Aleszka back in November of 2007. Wow is this guy gorgeous - he almost is too pretty to be a big boy! And, a big boy with Feline Leukemia Virus, unfortunately. Steve had him tested after he had been lingering around his home for a bit, intending to make him one of his own, but couldn't keep him when the test came back positive.
So into Big Sid's Sanctuary came outrageously jovial, insanely cute Jericho, and within minutes, he had stolen all of our hearts! He is a go-getter, a real charmer who goes out and gets what he wants, which is your attention! He mingles and mills about with the other Big Sid's Kids, searching for any type of adventure, but really thrives on those involving humans. Too bad some human let him down, by letting him out to contract this virus. Pathetic how irresponsible people can be. At least he was loved dearly by someone at some point - you can tell that by how darn affectionate he is.
Well, bottom line is that he is here with us now, safe and sound, being loved up one side and down the other by dozens of volunteers who think he is just the best! Thanks to Steve, he will have a happy, safe life with us from here on out! A big thank you to Nancy Vermerris for your monthly support of this fabulous boy!
Thanks for taking time to find out more about our Crash Cats!!
