Our featured cat for The River's Purrfect Friday: Fairuza

Here's what Dr. Jen had to say about Fairuza:

Oh my — this girl is about as pretty as they come, and as sweet as pie too! Blessed with beauty and bi-colored eyes (the right is light blue, the left is sea- green), she needed a name fitting of how fabulous and fine she is, and this one just fit her purr-fectly! So content to be indoors and pampered, she readily gave up her days as a stray with her big brother, Office Max, to join the ranks of Crash Cat this May, 2011.
Born in May of 2007, she and Max found themselves homeless out in Cedar Springs; when Max fell ill, a friend of his rescuers took him in to her work at NE Cat and Dog Hospital, but Fairuza was left behind, although kept inside of a well-kept barn. When Tara Whitten alerted me to the fact that she was trying to place the duo but not having any luck, I offered to take them both at once. And even though she was delighted to be reunited with her sibling, he wasn't as thrilled, so Fairuza is busy making friends with more-accommodating cat here at Crashs.
She is a really laid-back, easy-going gal who loves nothing better than to be doted upon and to return your kindness with a turn of the tummy and a well-placed purr. Stunning doesn't cut it — this cat is drop-dead gorgeous! And when you get looks like this AND a pleasant purr-sonality to boot, you can't pass it up, so come meet this kitty for yourself! We don't know how she and Max ended up front-declawed and wandering around the countryside, but we do know that with us in control of her whereabouts now, we will find her the type of home she has been dreaming of and deserves!
