Our featured cat for The River's Purrfect Friday: Brandywine

Here's what Dr. Jen had to say about Brandywine:

Kentwood resident Lynn Falls must have a cat attractant built right into the foundation of her home, as she rescues more cats in her neighborhood than I thought humanly possible:) She came home from the store one December night to find this gorgeous torti eating from her feral food colonies bowl She had a flea collar on, and was in good condition, so she figured someone just let her out, but no such luck, For the first few days at Lynn's she hissed ferociously like a mad woman at her other cats, but after day four, she made a sharp turn around and decided indoor life was pretty good. We were able to take her in from Lynn on February 19th, because if Lynn kept yet another one, where would all the wayward souls in her neck of the woods go? Brandywine is a sturdy 11 pounds, and a very pretty girl. She now socializes alright with the other cats, including the two other tortis we took in on the very same day, but she would really do best in a single cat household, or maybe a household with just one other feline friend. She is a bit of a talker, and really wants to be the center of your affection and attention. I think she was born in the summer of 2005, so at nearly six years old she is ready to settle down and become someone's lap cat for good:)
